For about seven years now, I've been toying with
While Googling las damas, I came across a blog entry called "Spectacular & Strong Spanish Women Portrayed in 19th & early 20th Centuries" by Barbara the self-proclaimed "boring historian" for her blog It's About Time. (Spoiler alert: She says she's boring but she isn't.) Barbara arranges some really lovely collections of art on assorted topics. To quote her, "There is a little museum in each blog -- no travel necessary."
I highly recommend a browse.
Meanwhile, that entry was exactly the resource I was looking for. I borrowed images from several artists, credited below, to diminish with my puerile scrawlings.
Row 1:
Adrien Henri Tanoux (French artist, 1865-1923) Portrait of a Spanish Lady
Albert Roelofs (Dutch painter, 1877-1920) A Young Woman Holding Flowers
Alexander Golovin (Russian painter, 1863-1930) Spanish Lady
Row 2:
Gustave Courbet (French painter, 1819-1877) A Spanish Woman
Robert Henri (American artist, 1865-1929) Spanish Girl
Carl von Steuben (1788–1856) Spanish Lady 1834

Wow.
You need an agent.
Incredible art.
I really like the way these capture the essence of the originals, while still being unmistakably your style.
